These are the site-maintained starter controls. Treat them as a verification checklist, not a permanent setup for every player.
- LMB is your melee baseline for close pressure.
- Q is listed as the gun input for ranged pressure.
- F is listed for parrying bullets and melee pressure.
- RMB is listed for grapple routes and angle changes.
- Shift, Ctrl, and Space cover dash, slide, and wallrun movement.
Rebinding priorities
The best bind is the one you can press while still aiming and moving. REDLINER asks for fast decisions, so every defensive and route-changing input needs a clean finger path.
- Keep parry reachable without releasing movement.
- Keep grapple reachable without losing camera tracking.
- Avoid binds that conflict with common Roblox or mouse software actions.
- Retest binds in a quiet route before judging them in a duel.
Input practice
Run tiny drills instead of full chaos. A clean input chain teaches timing faster than trying to copy highlight clips immediately.
- Dash, slide, stop, and reacquire your target.
- Wallrun only when the wall helps your angle.
- Swap gun and sword with a range reason.
- Parry only after you identify a readable shot or swing.
