Queue modes
Queue modes use matchmaking and are designed for structured fights. The release doc says matchmaking tries to pair similarly-levelled players.
- 1v1 Duels are the main solo mode for spacing, parry timing, and weapon reads.
- 2v2 Wingman is the team queue mode for focus fire, peels, and communication.
- Queue modes contain a closing zone when the timer runs out.
- If players stay outside the closing zone, they can be sniped.
- Parties and server lists were added with the lobby update.
Training and Tutorial
Training and Tutorial are the safest starting points because they isolate mechanics before live pressure.
- Tutorial teaches the basics.
- Training Mode includes killable drones.
- Training Mode includes parry training.
- Training Mode includes clash dummies.
- Training Mode lets players try guns before purchasing.
Custom lobbies and practice
Custom lobbies make controlled drills possible. Use them when public queues are too chaotic for a specific mechanic.
- Run parry drills against one weapon at a time.
- Practice Slam, chase grapple, and movement routes without queue pressure.
- Use 1v1 sets for range control and Instability tracking.
- Use 2v2 sets for target focus, teammate visibility, and zone pressure.
